The Civil Aviation Authority of Macao Special Administrative Region (CAA) was established on 4 February 1991 under Decree Law No. 10/91/M of February 4, 1991. The CAA is a governmental regulatory entity with administrative, financial, and asset autonomy under the supervision of the Secretary for Transport and Public Works. Its function is to carry out orientation, regulation, and inspection of all civil aviation activities in Macao's airspace and in any other air space under Macao's jurisdiction.
