UAV and Other Flying Activities

No-Fly Zones and Temporary Restrictions

 

In accordance with Article 67 of the Air Navigation Regulation of Macao approved in the Executive Order No. 43/2021, unmanned aircraft activities are prohibited in certain areas. Such as, the airspace within 1000m of any aerodrome or any take-off and landing location; the aircraft flight path area; the airspace above the 22 classified World Heritage Historic buildings; the airspace within 50m of the protected buildings, such as the Government headquarters, the Legislative Assembly building and the Central People’s Government Institutions. In addition, in accordance with Article 66 of the Air Navigation Regulation of Macao, the Civil Aviation Authority has the power to prohibit or restrict flying over any area of Macao where it deems necessary in the public interest. The prohibited or restricted area will be published through official channels, anyone who will operate the unmanned aircraft should firstly check the related information.
